LTFCA College Scholarship Program
Louisiana Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association will be awarding the $500 Ed Marcinkiewiczk Scholarship, the $500 Boo Schexnayder Scholarship, and the $500 Jay Stuckey Scholarship to three high school seniors.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- An applicant must have been coached by a current member of the LTFCA OR be a family member of a current member of the LTFCA.
- Scholarship applications will only be considered when submitted by a current LTFCA member.
- A recommendation from the LTFCA member attests to the applicant’s character and positive influence on their high school and/or their T&F/XC team.
- The applicant is a 2025 graduating high school senior.
- An applicant has been accepted to an accredited two- or four-year college or university.
- Applicant must write a 500-word essay.
HOW TO APPLY
- Complete the electronic LTFCA Scholarship application form
LTFCA scholarship application form. - Make sure to have your applicant’s 500-word essay, grade verification, college acceptance letter and ACT/SAT score are in pdf format. The form CANNOT be submitted without these documents.
- Only Electronic applications will be accepted and must be submitted prior to April 15, 2023.

LTFCA College Scholarship Program
Congratulations to the 2023-2024 LTFCA College Scholarship Recipients.
The Jay Stuckey Scholarship winner is Richard Gabriel Falting of Parkway High School. Richard will be attending Arkansas State University.
The Ed Marcinkiewicz Scholarship winner is Kaden Elliot of Hahnville High School. Kaden will be attending Northwestern State University.
The Boo Schexnayder Scholarship winner is Isabella Latkovich of Dutchtown High School. Isabella will be attending Southeastern University
Congratulations to all candidates who were submitted for the scholarship program. All were great representatives of their schools and of the sport of track & field and cross country. There is a bright future ahead for the class of 2024.
